Three school girls disappear to join the war in Syria- Police are urgently searching for three British school girls who have fled the UK to join the Isis group in Syria. The three girls flew to Istanbul, in Turkey, from Gatwick airport on Tuesday. Police say family and friends were unaware of their disappearance. This afternoon, Scotland Yard detectives made an urgent appeal for information about the girls. Commander Richard Walton said “Our force are becoming increasingly concerned about the girls and the teenager’s families are devastated.” Families and friends are extremely concerned of the safety of the girls and would like anyone with information to come forward and speak to the police. The police are currently reaching out to the girls using the Turkish media and social media in the hope that they will hear the messages, and concerns for their safety and will return to their families who are so worried about them. |

The volcano is situated on one of the world's newest islands 600 miles away from Tokyo, that appeared over 15 months ago when an underwater eruption brang up so much lava that the rock rose above the sea's surface. Japans coast guard has witnessed the change and has said “It has now grown to eleven times since its original size and shows no sign of it stopping.” Officials are going to use remote control submarines to examine the underwater volcano. |
